Weekly Recap #10 | Things That Made Me Happy

things that made me happy #10

Hello beauties!

I hope all of you having a great weekend so far. “Weekly Recap | Things That Made Me Happy” is another series where I will be sharing all the things that made me happy. My goal is to spread some happiness and gratitude of little or big things that are happening in my life, and encourage others to share their happy/grateful things of the week.

Sometimes all it takes is gentle reminders of things that make us grateful or appreciative. I mean, we live in a world full of senseless violence, poverty, famine, and tragedy – reflecting on the positive, I find, makes me open my eyes a bit more to appreciate the little things…Don’t you agree?

Feel free to share things that made you happy this week. Here are mine ♡

Celebrating My Mother-In-Law’s 66th Birthday
My lovely mother-in-law Barbara turned 66 years old on Friday. This was our first time physically celebrating her birthday, since she now lives close to us. It’s so amazing to have her and my father-in-law near. Her son Alex came from Orlando to celebrate her birthday with all of us too. We all decided to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. This was mine and my husband’s first time dinning at this restaurant and we loved it. Great food, great atmosphere and most importantly we were all together. We all had a wonderful time! The best part about it was looking at Barbara’s face and seeing hiw happy she was to be among her 2 sons, grandchild and me, her daughter-in-law.

Being Promoted At Work
Monday, August 1 – the day I got a promoted to be a coordinator at Otolaryngology office. Truly, my first thought when I was offered a new position was, hard word finally paid off and I’m so honored that they picked me from many other employees that work in our medical office. It wasn’t easy, I worked very hard to get where I am today. I still have a lot to learn and I want to do my best as an office coordinator. But, I’m ready to move forward and I’m ready to face new challenges. Bring it on!

Angelika Coming Back Home
My oldest daughter, Angelika was away for a month in Virginia. She was visiting her dad and our family who still live there. She had an amazing time. She got to do a lot of fun things and see those she loves the most. It was her first time flying. She said the experience was mesmerizing. I missed her a lot and I’m so happy to have her back with me here in Florida. She made great memories and looking forward to see family again soon.

Getting Off From Work Early On Friday
I didn’t expect to be off early on Friday, so it was a nice suprise. I’ve been working late lately and I’m sure with being at a new position I’ll be staying even later. It was nice to get a little break and get off from work earlier then expected.

Recognized At Work For A Being The Best At Customer Service
Our company decided to implement customer services classes for all the employees and physicians in our group. It’s a great way to remind everyone how important customer service is for the company because of potential complaints. I was honored to be recognized someone who has an exceptional customer service skills in front of the class. I see myself teaching a class in the future and encourage everyone to deliver the best customer service experience to all of our patients, staff and physicians.
